Let It Will Be Lyrics » Madonna

[Verse 1]
Now I can tell you about success, about fame
About the rise and the fall of all the stars in the sky
Don’t it make you smile?
[Refrain]
Let it will be
Just let it be
Won’t you let it be?
[Verse 2]
Now I can tell you about the place I belong
You know it won’t last long
And all those lights they will turn down
[Refrain]
Let it will be
Oh, let it be
Just let it be
Won’t you let it be?
[Verse 3]
Now I can see things for what they really are
I guess I’m not that far
I’m at the point of no return
Just watch me burn

What did Madonna say about “Let It Will Be”?

It’s kind of expressing the same theme of the opening of my film; there’s more to life than fame and fortune. After all the years I’ve been famous… 22 years or something, I don’t remember. I know that sounds like a really stupid thing to say like I can’t remember but it’s just been this immensely long ride and I just feel like I’ve earnt the right to be able to step back and look at it and say it is what it is. I don’t feel cynical about it, I don’t feel overjoyed by it, I don’t feel let down by it, it just is what it is. That’s the road I took- and hopefully I’ve made the best of it.
