J-Hope did the intro. Unlike us, he also did a dance since he’s good at that [dancing]. I helped with the lyrics at the end, so my name is on the credits. When J-Hope writes lyrics, even though he writes Korean, sometimes it doesn’t sound like Korean. So I edited the last part a bit.
J-Hope was really stressed when working on the trailer – not that it was tough, he [just] wanted to do very well, since this is our second regular/studio album. I think he felt a lot of pressure working on the intro, I think he redid it many times. Not just the song, even for the choreography.
[…] We were surprised when we first saw the dance. J-Hope said this when he first saw it: “I don’t know if I can do this. I’m not sure if this will go well. I have to practise a lot”. He kept sighing and stuff.
Back then we all worked on our own separately. I was working in the studio and J-Hope practised alone. One time I went into the practice room. He showed me what he was doing. I was so surprised, he took it very well. J-Hope’s fierce contemplation and hard work.
