“Rock N’ Roll Train” was released as the first single off
Black Ice
. It marked the end of AC/DC’s eight year hiatus. The longest in the band’s lifetime.
First composed with the title “Runaway Train” and even considered as a possible title track for the album during production, it was changed because there are too many songs/records with that title. It still inspired
